Boxster Design Ready to Race
The first three Porsche Boxsters have had roll cages fitted by Custom Cages in readiness for a new one-make series which will be seen on UK race circuits in 2010. The specially-developed roll cage will be part of a conversion kit which allow competitors to convert road-going 3.2 litre Boxster S models at low cost for the race series.
The eight-point design is fully welded and fits directly to the front strut and rear damper mounts. The door bar cross protection is an integral part of the design which includes the latest screen bar supports. The roof V tubes link directly to the V supports in the rear section of the cage. This very rugged design meets all of the 2009 MSA safety regulations.
